Amilcar is an associate professor at Carlos Albizu University in Puerto Rico. His research focuses on migration, aging, psychosocial measures, and Hispanic studies. Amilcar finished his PhD in Social Epidemiology at the University of Michigan in 2021 and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship the Population Research Institute and the Dept of Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State.
